The 3 Worst Ab Excercises to Avoid Like the Plague If You Want a Six Pack-10 Minute Trainer

Knowing the best ab exercises to do when trying to build six pack abs is very important but also knowing the ones to avoid is probably more important.10 Minute Trainer If you use these ab exercises that I'm now going to mention then you will either not see any visible difference to your abs and or worse you will end up injuring yourself
Gym ab machines
Most gyms have one of these and to be honest they do get a fair bit of usage. This just goes to show that most people don`t know what there doing or what it`s doing to their body. These ab machines are useless, when you use them you are far too restricted so do yourself a favour and ditch them for good. The best way to build your abs up is through real workouts and real nutrition there is no short cut.
Ab Rocker
I`m sure you have seen plenty of these around. Again they are completely useless and should be banned from gyms in my opinion.10 Minute Trainer They are just a lazy way to do sit ups and ive used them a few times but never feel like they actually do anything. There are dozens of ab excercise`s which you can do that are much more effective than using an ab rocker and a lot safer too.
Any other ab gadget machine, new or old
Weather you have come across an old or new type of ab machine, no matter what people say about it or what stories you hear never use it. This goes for any ab gadget out there and there seems to be a new one released each and every week. You know why? It`s because people buy them because they want fast and easy results. You don`t need to buy any of these because you have more than enough ab exercises to choose from which will build you six pack abs much faster and better than any bogus gadget or machine.
Also don`t be fooled by all of the fitness models which are in the adverts/infomercials, they didn't get their body by using the gadget which they are using. They got ther`e body by following real workouts and real nutrition.
So now you know the 3 worst ab exercises that you should avoid like the plague. Most of the time using your own body weight for ab exercises is plenty good enough to build a good set of six pack abs.10 Minute Trainer

What Are 10 Minute Trainer Methods to Develop Muscle Without the Assistance of Weights?

In an ideal world, weight training would be much easier than it is. Unfortunately most of us have very full lives to lead in addition to getting in shape and staying healthy. In order for a build muscle program, cardio exercises and all the other aspects of a healthy lifestyle to fit together, time management becomes a vital component of a long-term program.10 Minute Trainer
If you are a regular at your fitness center, do you just suspend your workouts when you are out of town on business or a vacation? How about for those of us who can't afford a membership, or can't fit weight training equipment into the budget? Training with weights is probably the most efficient way to gain strength, but if that's not possible it is certainly no reason not to exercise. Here we will give some different ways you can gain muscle without the use of weights.
1. Upper body. Push ups are excellent for building the shoulders, deltoids and chest, and absolutely no equipment is required. Just get face down to the floor and push yourself up with both arms, maintaining a straight, rigid body. You may do many variations of this exercise, for greater strength training place the feet at a higher level off the ground, or place additional weight around your body. Or if that weight is too much, do the routine with your knees on the ground, or leaning with hands against a wall and push yourself away from the wall.
Another simple exercise is the praying hands. Place your two palms together as if praying, extend your arms straight or bend them at a 90 degree angle. Press them together for as long and hard as you can, then stop and repeat. Another exercise is the isometric bicep curl, where you make a fist in your opposite palm and push down, at the same time pushing up with the opposite palm. Be sure to keep your elbows in.10 Minute Trainer
2. Other upper body exercises. Dips are great for the back and triceps. Place two chairs on either side of you, place each hand on the chairs and lower your weight down, then lift back up. Chin ups can be done by grasping a bar above you and pulling up. Variations of this exercise will tax different upper body muscle groups by positioning the hands differently when pulling up.
3. Leg muscles. Squats can be done in a variety of ways, the basic being to stand with your feet apart and lower your weight down slowly, as low as possible without hurting the hamstrings or knees. If your just getting started you may want to get going by supporting yourself slightly with chairs on either side of you as you squat.
4. Stomach muscles. Crunches hurt a lot, especially if you are not strong in the stomach area, but are great for the abs. Lie on your back, hands behind your back and feet on the floor. Now lift your upper torso upward for five to ten seconds and release. Leg lifts are easier, as with this exercise you lie on your back and lift both legs off the floor for as long as possible.10 Minute Trainer

The Pros and Cons of Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer

There are a bazillion exercise programs out there. Turn on the television and endless infomercials will stream across the screen, ripped men and women using strange looking exercise devices or dangerous looking machines for obscure reasons. People marching and leaping and bending and promising illimitable benefits if you just follow their latest exercise routine. Some of them look like they might even be legit, while others are clearly making specious claims. Question is: how to tell? One such program that requires a little more examination to make sure that it's not too good to be true is Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer, that claims that it will deliver startling results if you follow the 10 minute workouts. Real, or bogus? Let's take a look.
Let's examine the basic premise. 10 Minute Trainer makes the following claim: "The secret is SUPER STACKING. You're getting a cardio workout, upper-body resistance, and lower body and abs strengthening all at the same time. It would have taken you 30 minutes to an hour to do this with traditional workouts." In the 'Getting Started' section, the program lists three primary areas to focus on:
Do resistance training two or three times a week, preferably not two days in a row, focusing on the same body part.
Do cardio at least two or three times a week
Get your eating habits and portions under control. You don't need to starve yourself, but you do need to eat slightly less than your body can burn off every day.
All of that sounds pretty sensible, but is it feasible? Can you get good results if you 'Super Stack'? On it's face, this sounds like a feasible proposition: if you combine squats with a military press, you are in effect doing two exercises in half the time. Any standing exercise can be augmented by throwing in squats, just as a number of ab exercises can be supplemented with chest flies or presses. So yes, I buy that you can save a large amount of time if you carefully and cleverly combine exercises so that you reap the benefit from both in much less time.10 Minute Trainer
Further, the fundamentals outlined in the three principles above all seem to adhere to basic, sound principles. Nothing revolutionary and outré there. Combine cardio and resistance training, and be careful but not radical about what you eat. That is the kind of basic advice given to any beginning fitness enthusiast, and thus seems above the level.
The question thus becomes: can you get good results in 10 minutes, even if you combine exercises? That is where the quality of Tony's exercises are called into play. Given the wide amount of respect and grudging admiration his other workout routines such as P90X have garnered, it seems clear that at the very least he is no hack. Thus perhaps the best way to examine this program is not by asking if it's the best workout program ever, but if it's an effective program for those who don't have the hour or so necessary to work out each day. Considered in that light, and given the sound principles on which it seems to be based, the answer is that it is clearly better than nothing at all, and probably sound in its own right.
If buying 10 Minute Trainer gets people who don't think they have the time to exercise to do exactly that, especially if Tony Horton is guiding them through sound and basic practices that have been 'stacked' so as to fit in the shortest period of time, than I don't see what's not to like. Myself, I prefer to dedicate more time to my exercise regimen, but were I a busy mother, business professional or any other person without time, than I would definitely turn to Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer as a possible way to get in my exercise as efficiently as possible.10 Minute Trainer
